The Golden Dawn - How A Secret Magical Order Gave Birth To New Age Spirituality
The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn was an influential secret society founded in London in 1888, primarily focused on the study and practice of the occult, metaphysics, and paranormal activities.
The order drew from various esoteric traditions, including Hermetic Qabalah, astrology, Tarot divination, alchemy, and theurgy.
The Golden Dawn system was structured in a series of grades or levels of initiation, each offering deeper access to mystical knowledge.
The society attracted many prominent figures of the time, including Aleister Crowley, W.B. Yeats, Arthur Edward Waite, and many more, who as you will discover, profoundly influenced Western esoteric thought.
